So I saved all of our movie stubs from 2011 evisioning a page for them...but never realy imaginied how many that would be! This is one packed page with little artidtiv design... but man, does it show the fun or what?

12 year old pain.

How can a 12 year old birthday hurt?  When you have to get on your tip toes to hug said 12 year old. (sigh)

I hope you had a wonderful birthday, my sweet boy. I can't believe we are now counting down to a household with one teenager now.

BPC 12 Days of Christmas

So I think I am "sticking a fork in" my project for Big Picture Classes' 12 Days of Christmas class.  It was only 10 days of Christmas for me (I only did 10 of the 12 projects), but I'm good with that.

Very fun class format where you collect pictures and supplies for 12 days and then get a design prompt from a new designer every day to put them all together for the last 12 days. It doesn't always work, but I am amazed at how fast some of these came together. (Limited supplies, figures!) I hope BPC does this one again.

Project Life begins!

I spent WAY too much time on this yesterday, but am hoping I laid some foundation plans that will keep this moving along in future weeks a little speedier... and (gasp) thinking I might scrap fewer pages as a result this year. But I think this project can really justify that. This is a lot of work and a lot of life documented.

So enough words, here's is my Week one.

I added a 6x12 clear confettit page (thank you Lisa Truesdale for the inspiration) to celebrate Ben's birthday this week. It looks really col laid over the other pages, but you'll have to trust me on that, because it was impossible to photograph. Decided I will add these for all birthdays in the fam this year (it's a milestone year for a couple of us, I'm afraid - boo)

Anyways, I really love how it turned out, now just making plans to keep it up.
