Still feeling a bit under the weather (I swear this cold is incredibly lengthy - ick!), but I just can't bring myself to lay down and rest fully any longer, so I played with this week's sketch @ Sketchy Thursdays this morning to get my mind off things.
Love sketches with multiple photos designed in them.
Not a whole lot of stratgey here, I just simply played, sprayed, stitched and glued... but you can't go wrong when your play toys are the fabulous Teresa Collins paper (background - love her patterns and paper weight) and Studio Calico mists (a must have tool). Best way to pass a day where your head hurts and sleep aludes you? Scrap something happy. (Or in reality just finish something that's been on your desk for days so you can make room for new Studio Calico goods... I love that big brown truck!)
Anyways, we had the sweetest little mini break to the mountains last fall on a mission for wine & peaches in beautiful Palisade Colorado. Just remembering these peaches made me salivate. (sigh)
Most of the supplies here came from Studio Calico Metropolitan kit. I hand cut the peaches from a MS Word clip art... kinda proud of that. And the border includes some detail stitch work with the Sew Easy stitch tool... check it out in the side gallery!
Anyways, hope you are all avoiding these terrible illness bugs going around - is it Springtime yet?!
Been working on some birthday pages lately... my birthday is always an excuse to scrap in pink. Makes you wanna get out your Hubba Bubba, right?
